Belles Barangaroo Family Reunion
After six years, Sydney’s first outpost of Melbourne original Belles Hot Chicken has been given a makeover, returning to its neighbourhood-diner roots with a retro refresh.
And to celebrate the relaunch, the team is throwing an opening shindig with some familiar faces.
Original co-founder Morgan McGlone (Sunday) is swinging by the kitchen to cook up some old favourites from the menu, including maple butter wings and “almost Arnold’s beans” with smoked pork hock. There’ll also be free Belles wingettes available throughout the day.
Drnks has curated wines to get by the glass or bottle, or you can order Belles x Pirate Life Brewing tinnies, which feature notes of tangerine, honeyed malt, savoury sage and herbs, plus lemon biscuit and white pepper aromas. And live DJs will be spinning tunes throughout the afternoon.
The party is open to everyone, and goes from 2pm to 6pm.
