Finders Keepers Brisbane/Meanjin Markets
Australia’s biggest curated design market, Finders Keepers, is taking over the Exhibition Building at Brisbane Showgrounds – get your Christmas shopping done early this time around.
The market has handpicked more than 100 independent artists, designers and entrepreneurs from across the country to showcase and sell their wares, including ceramics, furniture, plants, candles and accessories.
Creatives presenting their products include artist and pattern maker Claire Ritchie, Brisbane local Debra Hood, jewellery label Hello Joy and ceramicist Paxxy & Flora, alongside sustainable fashion labels Nicoco Design, Rex & Isla, Melbourne’s Al Ele and Rose & Reggie. The market’s indigenous program is also back, with Ikuntji Artists – the first Aboriginal arts centre for Western Desert women.
Plus, there’ll be plenty of food and drinks vendors to sustain you throughout the weekend, and enough green space for an impromptu picnic in the sun.
