MoVida Aqui

MoVida Aqui is a world away from the back alleys of the original MoVida and MoVida Next Door, soaking in the sun in the middle of the Bourke Street business grint.

Unusually for the CBD, Aqui has a fair bit of outdoor seating on the first-floor terrace it shares with Paco's Tacos. On warmer days for the whole place to look like one big Spanish party.

Inside, Aqui is a long and light space, with large windows, trademark MoVida Spanish tile lamps and a view to the galley kitchen. Multicoloured milk crates hang artfully above the bar and Euro-style posters vie for attention. This is the brightness of Spain, slotted neatly into the Melbourne office day.

The menu is another chance to taste everything we’ve come to know and love from Movida's Frank Camorra. From raciones of octopus, yuzu, creme fraiche and red pepper to slow-braised Pedro Ximenez beef cheek, these are share plates at their best. So grab some friends, settle in with a sherry and share the fun, one dish at a time.
