Sailing Lessons With the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron
The Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron is Aotearoa’s leading yacht club, with origins tracing back to the mid-1800s and a celebrated history of hosting the America’s Cup from the 1990s until as recently as last year.
In this one-day sailing course, the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron invites you to join the country’s top sailing coaches for a day learning how to sail. It’s the type of experience available exclusively to Mastercard cardholders, who can register via priceless.com.
The day will kick off with a morning tea, where you’ll learn the difference between a tack and a jibe, how to observe weather conditions, and the basics of boat equipment and manoeuvres. At lunchtime, you’ll head to squadron’s Members Bar before heading out into the glistening Waitemata Harbour to put what you’ve learned into practice. Later on, you’ll debrief over drinks and nibbles back in the Members Bar.
Head to Priceless to secure your spot. Prices may change depending on exchange rates at the time of booking.
