On October 1, Bendigo will play host to Treaty Day Out, a one-day outdoor music festival to raise awareness (and support) for the journey towards treaty in Victoria.
Leading the star-studded First Nations line-up is the ever-soulful Dan Sultan and rapper Briggs, alongside No Fixed Address, Marlon x Rulla, Kee’ahn and more.
There’ll also be food trucks, First Nations craft stalls and a smoking ceremony.
Behind the event, on Dja Dja Wurrung Country at Bendigo Showgrounds, is the First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria.
Tickets are free for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people who have enrolled with the First Peoples’ Assembly of Victoria (you can do so here). For friends and allies, tickets are available to purchase.
Ticket sales are available online from 10am on Friday August 12.
