Since launching in 2017, Melbourne homewares label Fazeek has gradually risen in popularity with its range of chic, colourful glassware, terrazzo-look soaps and cannabis-scented candles. It opened a bricks-and-mortar store in Fitzroy earlier this year, and in addition to its recognisable wavy coupes, sculptural carafes and oil burners, it’s now adding more scalloped glassware – flutes, deep wine glasses and candlestick holders – to its online store.
According to Fazeek founder and creative director Jackie Fazekas, “The brand is all about taking everyday objects and making them … a bit more exciting.” Like the rest of the colourful range, the playful new Wave candle holders ($79) are inspired by the hard and soft lines of modern architecture. They come in three colours – blue, white and jade – and paired with Fazeek’s striped candles, they make quite the dinner table statement.
They’re a versatile shape, so if you’d like to have your table candles lower than eye-level, you can flip them over and use a tea light in the middle instead of a tall candle. Fazeek sells tea lights in packs of eight for $29. They’re available in blue, jade and pink, and they burn for around four hours.

Stocking up on glasses? Fazeek recently expanded its glassware range to include elongated flutes. They come in sets of two, made from durable borosilicate glass. The signature scalloped design comes in pink, teal or clear glass for $119. Or, for wine lovers, Fazeek’s Wave wine glasses are also available in pink, teal or clear, in sets of two, for $119. These ones hold more liquid – up to 400 millilitres per glass – allowing “fine wines to breathe”, according to the label.
Fazeek’s Wave candle holders, striped dinner candles and tealights will be available online later this month.
